Loss of Frank DePaola, PE

We are sad to report the loss of Frank DePaola, PE, who, as MassDOT Secretary Stephanie Pollack noted in an online Boston Globe story today, “…was a good man, a great engineer and an exceptional transportation leader.”

Frank served in senior leadership roles in several public agencies, including MBTA, MassDOT, MWRA and BWSC and most recently worked at AECOM.

Frank received an Engineering Leadership award from TECET, The Engineering Center Education Trust in 2016, among many other awards for his leadership throughout his dedicated career.

The wake will be this Thursday December 12 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Conley’s Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St., Brockton, Ma.

His funeral will be this Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Anne’s Church, 103 N. Main St. West Bridgewater, MA.  

His obituary will be in both the Boston Globe and the Brockton Enterprise Tuesday.
