Republicans must stand together against mandates

Republicans must stand together against mandates:

It's your body, and it doesn't belong to anyone else -- not the government, not your mask-shaming neighbor, and not to Gov. Charlie Baker.

Yet months after Gov. Baker vowed he'd never implement a vaccine mandate, today he did just that. Consider this note I received earlier today from the wife of a corrections officer regarding the mandate for state workers:

"My husband is one of them. He was given a 5-day unpaid suspension today. He will have a hearing next Tuesday which he will be given the next step, 2-week unpaid suspension, then he will be fired. I can't believe what is happening. My husband's rights are being stripped away. His religious exemption was also denied!!! They told him it was philosophical not religious & that's why they denied him his religious freedom! What is even more messed up is that the inmates are not being mandated. So that means a criminal has more rights then my husband & all the other tax paying state workers."

She's not wrong.

Had enough? Us too.

The Massachusetts Republican Party is taking a stand for Republican principles. In a blue state such as ours, this is certainly a risk, but it's one worth taking. When you don't fight for anything, you'll fall for anything. And we aren't about to back down.

If you believe in principles, you'll join us in this fight. We're assembling a slate of Republican candidates who will put principles over politics in 2022.

Will you donate, any amount you can, to assist us in this fight?

Please consider supporting the Massachusetts Republican Party as we continue to work for YOU and not for THEM!

Thank you for your continued support!

Yours,

Jim Lyons
