Diana won’t back down — and neither will we.

When the Massachusetts Legislature refused to cooperate with an audit in 2023, countless residents had to collect over 75K signatures to put this issue before the voters via a ballot initiative.

Due to the Legislature’s most recent rejection of our calls for more transparency and accountability, via an audit by the State Auditor’s Office, we must now collect another round of nearly 13k signatures to get this question on the November 2024 ballot.

We can’t do this without you and ask for your help in collecting these additional signatures - which are only able to be counted if they come from voters who didn’t already sign one of our petitions from last year. We need to get this done by early June.

If you're willing to help, we can mail you blank signature sheets with clear instructions. The easiest way to collect signatures is to ask your family and friends, or simply bring a sheet or two along to BBQs, parties, or even your book club. We are also planning Days of Action around the state and invite you to stay tuned by signing up HERE .

If you couldn't guess by the title — or the yellow blazer — journalist Catherine Elton chronicled not just Diana’s journey to being State Auditor of Massachusetts, but also her mission to bring "bright, sunshine-y transparency" to state government. And while Diana’s story is one that resonates with many, you know as well as we do that this is our mission. 

We didn't elect Diana as our chief accountability officer to "count beans" or rubber stamp whatever comes across her desk. We elected her to make bold and meaningful change for the people of Massachusetts. That’s exactly what she is doing. 

But she can’t do this alone. 

Fighting against political insiders who want to maintain the status quo isn't easy, but it's the right thing to do.
