Number of Amendments Filed

During the Budget process, House and Senate members get to file amendments. This year, there were 1311 amendments filed in the House by the 160 House members, which averages out to about 8.2 amendments per member. Not surprisingly, the top filer by a good distance was Bradley Jones, the House Minority Leader, who weighed in with 65 amendments. The remaining top filers were Democrats, however. Read More »
