Grapefruit Shandy

The Boston Globe

Ingredients

1 ounce Aperol

1 teaspoon sugar

1 grapefruit slice

Night Shift Nite Lite (or another light-style lager)

½ ruby red grapefruit slice, to garnish

Directions

1. In a mixing glass, muddle grapefruit slice with sugar until sugar is dissolved.

2. Add Aperol and dry shake (without ice) for 10 seconds.

3. Strain into a 13-ounce beer goblet. Add beer to taste.
