Lonnie Newburn of The Boston Shaker

Ingredients

2 oz Apple Brandy (Newburn recommends: Beaver Pond Distillery's Aged Apple Brandy from Petersham, MA)

3/4 oz grenadine or pomegranate syrup (Newburn recommends: Pratt Standard True Grenadine Syrup)

3/4 oz fresh lemon juice

2 dashes cranberry bitters (Newburn recommends: Bittermens New England Spiced Cranberry Bitters)

Directions

Add all ingredients to a Boston Shaker. Add ice and shake for 10 seconds. Strain up in a coupe glass.
