11:00am Senate Session, Informal Session

“We’ve got a lot of levers and a lot of ways to put together a good budget for ’21, and we’re working with our brethren in the House and the Senate, but right now we don’t see a need to put taxes on the mix,”

Administration and Finance Secretary Michael Heffernan

The Baker administration yesterday proposed its $45.5 billion budget for 2021. Baker pulled $1.35 billion from the reserves and pledged to not raise taxes.
